Coming back to the ring for a worthy cause
There is another popular ex-boxing champion making a comeback at an age when most fighters are bouncing their grandchildren on their lap, Evander Holyfield.
Everyone is excited about that guy with IRON in his fist that they call Mike. But there is a guy training now that actually beat Mike twice. That man is Evander Holyfield.
He officially made the announcement days ago. He said he has began training. Evander said he will be fighting in a upcoming exhibition match to support a worthy cause.
The REAL DEAL Holyfield has not put on the gloves in over 9 years. Says his mission is to raise money for a very good charity organization he feels compelled to support.
The goal is to provide kids with the funds and resources to sustain healthy emotional development and teaching.
“When I fight someone, I want to break his will. I want to take his manhood. I want to rip out his heart and show it to him”
Whispers say a (Iron Mike) vs Evander Holyfield III could transpire.
Holyfield has yet to name an opponent. But with Mike training, and him training, and the great brawls they had in the past in people’s memories. It’s only natural for people to wonder about another match of these great warriors.
It will most likely be just business, not personal since the two have moved past the ear incident, and are now good friends.
