Four-time World boxing champion Adrien Broner received a prison sentence, which could make his fight with Manny Pacquiao his last.
The (PROBLEM) has a problem. A judge sentenced Adrien Broner to 7 days in lockup after he violated probation. The probation was in place due to an alleged assault on a woman.
It’s another nail in the coffin of the topsy-turvy career of the talented but often times troubled boxer. He was last in the ring against Manny Pacquiao January 2019 in a fight that Manny won.
Promoters might be running out of patience with Broner’s antics. He famously had a heated verbal exchange with TMT executive Leonard Ellerbe, the man who helped guide Floyd Mayweather to boxing success. His fight with Pacman was at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Broner is 31 years old. That’s not particularly old for boxers, but not young either. It’s a time in a boxer career when they want to start closing out. Its no time to be DOING time.
Post on social media, and alleged threats to others have led some to question his mental state. And having run ins with the the law does not help his status at all. It’s probably a safe bet to say we will not see Broner in the ring in 2020. Broner spoke to Wyatt live podcast over the summer saying: ” I want to be world champion again”. 140, 135 with the right opponent is cool. I’m a PROBLEM for anybody at 135, but I’m sure my next fight will be at the 140 weight class.
At this point it doesn’t matter who i fight. I can fight my lawyer and people will come to see me. Fans don’t care, they want to see me.
My natural weight class is 135, I can smash at that weight, because I can still make that weight for real. It would be hard work but I can make that weight.

Looks like the arenas are not opening up right now. so I will probably be stepping back into the ring in early 2021.
I’ll be damn if Im fighting (Without Crowds). I need to get my money at the gate. If they pay, they will see a incredible fight. I always give 100% people know this.
I think I paid my dues to the point where I can dictate a little as to what I want. Doing things the way I want and how I want them done.
But these scrapes with the law can seriously derail dreams. Let’s hope his great fight with Manny Pacquiao Is not the last time we see Adrien broner in the ring.
