WHY TYSON FURY GLOVE CONTROVERSY BECAME REALITY TELEVISION

Tyson Fury glove controversy is not real. I remember when everyone knew boxing was real, and wrestling was fake. When Andre The Giant put someone in a bearhug you knew it was simply entertainment.

When Bruno Sammartino launched himself off the top rope onto a foe on the canvas, it was entertainment. But when Ali threw that fast piston like jab at an opponent you knew it could result in opponent being left unconscious for real.

The glove controversy is not real. Boxing is not real anymore. It’s in the reality television realm now. It is the same as Welcome to the Kardashians (or whatever the name of that show is).

Its Hip Hop housewifes, WorldStar hip hop, American Idol. When did boxing become this circus? There was honor, belt pride and fairness in boxing.

Now it just selfishness, no-shame ducking, and guys throwing belts in the trash for a couple more dollars. Punchingbagskunk resident boxing expert speaks about exactly that in the awesome article, “WHATS WRONG WITH BOXING”

IS BOXING AND FOOTBAL THE SAME IN SOME WAYS?

The whole controversy with the footballs supposedly being purposely deflated was as ridiculous as this whole Tyson Fury glove controversy.

Hypothetically even if the footballs were brought down a couple of PSI, would that have made a difference in any of the football games?

Would that really impact the outcome of the games? Also, wouldn’t it also affect the opposing team? If we were playing with a sneaker, wouldn’t it be a level playing field? Tom Brady would light up the scoreboard regardless.

Tyson Fury supposedly tampering with the gloves had absolutely no impact on the fight. He would have beat Deontay Wilder even if he was wearing them big gloves the clowns in the circus alwayys wear.

It’s a shame a performance like that has to be tarnished because some people just can’t accept the fact that the Bronze Bomber got beat fair and square.

Tyson Fury glove controversy, Is there any officials with anything to say?

Deontay Wilder and acquaintance dressed in fur coats.
Deontay Wilder looking dapper.

When I was fighting, it was always an official present while both camps chose and inspected combatant’s gloves. There are eyes everywhere. Entourage, press personnel, family.

Where is the time to do this? The ref during introductions/instruction should be able to see if any hanky panky is going on right? And by the small chance all this gets by EVERYBODY, and the fighters commence to fighting.

If the battle causes the gloves to break down and expose knuckle, shouldn’t the bulk of the blame go on the glove manufacturer?

It seems everybody is making gear these days. Maybe the blame should be…….ummmm….pointed in another direction? Tyson Fury put on a spectacular show. Let him enjoy the victory.

WHY YOU SHOULD WIN LIKE A CHAMPION, AND LOSE LIKE A CHAMPION.

When Anthony Joshua lost to Andy Ruiz, look at how he took his devastating lost in stride. He didn’t make excuses. Not to even even let his millions of fans make excuses for him.

He behaved like a champion should after a lost. Thomas Hearns got stopped on his feet in a fight he was winning.

Yet look at how he sat right beside Leonard at the post fight press conference and showed just how a proud champion takes an L.

WHAT IS CONTROVERSY

Controversy is a state of prolonged public dispute or debate, usually concerning a matter of conflicting opinion or point of view. The word was coined from the Latin controversia, as a composite of controversus – “turned in an opposite direction”.

In the theory of law, a controversy differs from a legal case; while legal cases include all suits, criminal as well as civil, a controversy is a purely civil proceeding.

For example, the Case or Controversy Clause of Article Three of the United States Constitution (Section 2, Clause 1) states that “the judicial Power shall extend … to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party”. This clause has been deemed to impose a requirement that United States federal courts are not permitted to cases that do not pose an actual controversy—that is, an actual dispute between adverse parties which is capable of being resolved by the [court]. In addition to setting out the scope of the jurisdiction of the federal judiciary, it also prohibits courts from issuing advisory opinions, or from hearing cases that are either unripe, meaning that the controversy has not arisen yet, or moot, meaning that the controversy has already been resolved.
