HE’S IS FOCUSED AND EAGER TO FACE FURY AGAIN.
American heavyweight protege Raphael Akpejiori says Deontay Wilder prepared is in incredible physical shape for his upcoming third fight with Tyson Fury.
Akpejiori a hard hitting heavyweight contender who has dispatched of most his opponents early with knockouts, could very well be in camp to spar with the former champ as he prepares for his third contest with Fury, which is coming in December.
The deadly punching Alabama native has taken his training to a level only previously seen in Sylvester Stallone ROCKY movies.
Deontay Wilder prepared this time by applying intensive speed training and conditioning routines.
Akpejiori who played basketball and football at the University of Miami shares the same coach as Deontay Wilder. Going on what I believe, there is only one person that can beat him right now. And that person is Deontay, Akpejiori told Sky Sports.
Im confident he has all the physical gifts to secure a victory over Fury. He just has to listen and follow the plan laid out by his team.
His shape right now is unbelievable. And I’m telling you absolutely that you will see a totally different Deontay, shapewise and mentally when the bell rings for the third match. That I tell you.
TYSON FURY FANS ARE NOT BUYING DEONTAY WILDER PREPARED
Recently Tyson Fury fans have been making themselves heard concerning alleged biceps injury excuse being used by some fans of Deontay Wilder. A source for Punchingbagskunk.com Facebook Group have reported very heavy traffic in the comments section of post associated with the Wilder vs Fury trilogy.
Also fight fans are commenting, (some noticeably irate) on Facebook group Boxing Connected.
Fury fans are quick to point out Wilder barely won 3 rounds in both fights combined. Yes Wilder knocked Fury down, but Fury returned the favor.
The general consensus coming from the Fury flock is, Wilder is making excuse after excuse. And they are getting fed up with it. This type of buzz prior to a fight means most want to see a third match to finally put to rest any and all excuses.
Remember, most people regard Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier’s third fight as the most thrilling of all their epic battles. Who can forget the thriller in manila.
